Well, yeah, it should, considering the game has the right kind of story for it. Games like Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood have a story that is just begging to have co-op, but no such feature is available. That severely reduces the replay value of a game like that.

I just have to add that Phantasy Star Online is the best action RPG with split-screen story mode co-op ever made.
